Here we go again about six degrees of separation. Ordered coffee at the Mt Garnet servo, mentioned the name Bill Brotherton (my mother’s brother, gone over 10 years) and Tiffany, the coffee lady said she was negotiating to buy old Bill’s house. The child Bride and I were last in the house 35 years ago.
Found the house and next door got to yarnin to Josh Henry and Belinda Murray who are related to my dad’s old tracker George Musgrave in Laura. I remember George Musgrave well. We should park up here for a day or so but have to get to Atherton for a critical piece of electronics. It was exciting talking to Josh and Belinda because we know so many of the old generation in the cape, and we both speak language. As Big Kev used to say……I’m excited.
